Seringai

Formed in Jakarta in 2002, Seringai became one of the defining forces in Indonesia's modern rock and metal landscape. Drawing from the darkness of Black Sabbath, the velocity of Motörhead, and the recklessness of hardcore punk, the band forged its own self-described high octane rock.

Seringai's songs pair massive riffs and confrontational energy with lyrics addressing social and political tension, individual freedom, and everyday excess. From underground rooms to opening for Metallica at Gelora Bung Karno in 2013, the band has carried the same independent spirit to every stage.

Following the passing of founding guitarist Ricky Siahaan in 2025, Arian13, Sammy Bramantyo, and Edy Khemod continued the band's journey. The 2026 album IV: Anastasis marked a powerful return, with Angga Kusuma and Darma Respati joining the live guitar lineup.
