Negatifa

Negatifa is a Jakarta powerviolence and hardcore punk unit formed in late 2024 by four figures from Indonesia's underground music community. Fast, brutal, and direct, the band compresses hardcore punk, grindcore blast beats, thrash, and flashes of sludge into short songs built for immediate impact.

The project grew from Arian13's earlier plan to revive the hardcore/powerviolence band Aparatmati with the late Eben of Burgerkill. After that plan could no longer continue, a new formation emerged with Darma Respati Putra, Dimas Tirta Arwana, and Indrawan “Epik” Juniarsyah.

Negatifa released its self-titled debut on 16 May 2025 through Grimloc Records. Its eleven songs address abuse of power, toxic behavior, equality, and the importance of safe spaces. The band quickly built its reputation through relentless live performances across Indonesia and its first international appearances.
